“What kind of people will not succeed?”
There are success stories of how people fought with obstacles and achieved goals in their life. Coming to the unsuccessful people:
There are people who are irresponsible probably either because of their personality or because no one is there to guide them on the right path. Some people are also unfortunate, they really try very hard to be something but fate is not with them. There is always this bad luck that does not let them be successful. They may get successful after decades, but there is a very sheer chance for it. Then there are a set of people who really fight hard to overcome the obstacles, but sometimes the obstacles win over. Being successful is not just a financial thing. Successful can be any small or huge goal irrespective of financial status. It is more about creating own identity. It can be even related to achieving a certain task. Most of the time, lack of resources and lack of support may lead to an unsuccessful story.
“Is it necessary to fail to be a successful person?”
There is no compulsion for one to be a failure in order to become a successful person.
In this biased world, it is possible to see the people being successful without any hurdles. Everyone has a different time zone and differently laid out life plans. Few fail 100s of times to achieve one goal. The number of people successful through the failure stories is always spread out for the purpose of inspiration. The success of any goal depends upon the field itself. Some may have to invest immense time, great efforts, required skills, maybe a huge sum of money, and the rest of the needed factors. Whereas some streams may not require much investment. Moreover, almost every project needs to go through trials during the process itself which can be counted as a failure too. Perhaps, as long as the resources are available with the right skills, it is possible to reach the success point at the earliest.

Very nice write up
Thanks for this.
And thanks to you Anita
Thank you 🙂 I am not Anita
I don’t think it’s necessary to fail per se but we learn from our mistakes and (mostly) grow stronger
Absolutely !
Well, it depends on what the definition of success is for someone. Also, sometimes you might do everything you can but not succeed in the traditional way.
Yes.
I think that firstly we need to define what “succeeding in life” is. We are all individuals and what success might mean for me, it can be different for you. Is success measured in how much money you have, in what job you have, in how happy you are, in your family?
Yes, I wrote the same thing but we see many people misunderstand success as only money.
I agree! I find the successful people never give up. Unsuccessful people usually do, and are generally miserable people.
Who defines success? I think we are all capable in succeeding in life.
Yes, everyone is capable.
I often think and believe that success is hinged on who you know. Although, I believe success has a different meaning for each person.
Yes, different meaning for everyone.
I think this is a great post on success and the traits needed to be successful. I don’t think failure is a must but I think the ability to cope with it and learn from it is a key component to leading a successful life.
True 🙂 Thank you 🙂
This post is really sensible and in time. We all must read this and be inspired same as I have been. I completely agree with all you said here.
Thank you 🙂
Perfect! I’d say that those who never take chances and risks, those who don’t fight back if an obstacle puts them down are the ones who wont’s succeed. Towards success, you must have the fight and a good attitude.
Thank you 🙂 Yes, agree.
Such a thought provoking article!! I loved how you emphasized that there’s no compulsion to fail in order to eventually succeed. But, just in case you do fail, it forms a strong foundation to succeed. It was good to read this!!
Thank you Aishwarya 🙂
I believe that success cannot exist without failure in this life. This is so because failure teaches us so many important lessons on our road to success. People can fail due to their motives. We never know or understand someone’s motive because it is the unseen part of the journey.
That’s right 🙂
I agree that failure is an important part of successes. You don’t get back up if you don’t fall and learn your lesson
I believe that success can come from failure if you choose to learn from your mistakes. I find it can be a great way to grow as a person.
Agree 🙂
All I know is that good grades in school do not guarantee success in life. Speaking from experience.
True
Who defines success? I think what it can be something successful for me won’t be for someone else, I didn’t think about this until today, nice write up, thanks for sharing!
Thank you 🙂
I get what you’re saying. I don’t really think about success and failure per se; however, I have heard a lot of conversations on this topic. I have heard the mean things that people start saying about people who they think had it easy. For instance, people say all sorts of things about Kardashians. I have no inclination towards them, nor do I hate them. I just don’t think it’s fair to demean them with mean words.
Success would come and keeping this sort of mindset may not bring success to anyone, but it would at least keep our batteries charged 🙂 Nice post!
Thank you 😊
This is really such a thinkable post! Every one has the ability to succeed in life. But only someone makes efforts to make it.
Yup. Thank you 🙂
Its all about your own perspective. Many treats failure as part of learning process, and many embraces failure as their destiny. We do all make our own destiny, it is opt to us to succeed or fail permanently.
I am finally doing what I enjoy and while many would not see it as being successful because I don’t make a lot of money. I do make enough to met my basic needs and am at peace within.
That’s a good thing Paula 🙂
