I’m Groot!

This wood kind fellow visited my little balcony garden in the morning. The first thought that came to my mind was,” I’m Groot”. While I had been having a pretty bad morning, seeing this was a good moment. I could not capture much photos and videos. It can hear our voices and give us a look by turning his neck πŸ˜‰ Here is little glimpse πŸ™‚ Nature always surprises me πŸ™‚
In the video, his hand looks like superman pose.

Β

Here, the hand seems like giving a muscle pose.

  14. Coming to think of it, nature is indeed amazing, so much beauty to appreciate. Although it can get scary with insects. I don’t think I’d be bold enough to get close to those insects.

    1. I had slight scare due to his expressions too, but when almost touched, it does nothing.

That is a praying mantis, right? If it is, then this is the first time I’ve seen a mantis in that color. Most of what I see are green. Well, your caption for the photo is so spot on. He does remind me of Groot!

    1. I am not sure. I first thought it as grass hopper. But, I don’t know what it is yet. Yes,groot guy

  21. I think this is a praying mantis. We have a lot of these in our garden.

If we pay attention and savor nature’s little surprises, we are so much happier (as a reminder of that I started Happier Place). Thank you so much for sharing your observation of “Groot” with us!
